Thoughts Passing through Alpha - sleep

When you are waking up in the morning, your thoughts are dreamy and it takes a while for the alarm to blast through to you and jar you into "conciousness" as they call it.  Whoops.  This is the beginning of your weightloss/body recomposition nightmare.  Literally.  The Pregnenolone Steal just started happening, and you go for the gusto and reach out for your "cup of extra stress" called Java. . .and the cascade happens.  Lets add a nice, paranoid ciggy in there for good measure and with a palpitating heart, you head to work. . .to see that great, nice guy called; the boss.

Ok, now if you forgot breakfast, that is ok. .but if the above had you nodding your head or maybe laughing a little (but kinda nervous like. . .haha) then its probably time to start with a few extra minutes of sleep each day and waking up WITHOUT the ALARM!  If you can't do this, then its time to start going through all the things in your life that are "stressing" you out and start to get organised.  I did this last night.  I also woke up by myself, with no alarm, as I always do.  If you need a "scare" to wake you up, it may just be time to start thinking about the person that is number one.  YOU!  Because you can't help anyone else (friends, family, children etc.) if you are sick and/or NOT HERE ANYMORE!  ...exuse the big letters. . .its just emphasis, not yelling;)

Better and better every day in every way. . .Coach 'Fusion" Morrison

Mom had a question about olive oil freezing. :)

while staying at his mothers house over xmas, TEAM TDW's Director got this question from his mother, a registered nurse and health nut! "Should you freeze it to prevent it oxidizing (going bad, or turning rancid)?"
Yes!
Check out this article for more info.

Thanks to Mr. Ryan Ebling, nutrition guru at market america and one of the field development officers for their Transitions lifestyle system for speaking to me on this subject at one of our trainings!
He uses this technique: pour enough olive oil into a smaller container that you use for your weekly supply. When you are down to a couple days worth..take the big jug out, unthaw and topup. Out big one back in the freeze.

Webinars with future pro, Joshua Atritsku!

Hello to all my peeps on facebook and this blog.  I have not been on here much over the last few months as I was busy with a fitness center job that I am no longer at!  I am going to start off this new round of great posts about everything from Nutritional Excellence to precontest prep (followed up of course with some interviews with people like Mr. Joshua, Atrisku who is on track to become the Under 202 lb Mr Olympia if he keeps up the amazing work he is already doing with his physique.  5'0 tall and gets up to 200+ in the offseason.  He is currently learning to control his carb intake and start staying close to his contest shape so that he can consitently and methodically pack on more lean muscle without having to sacrifice any of it as he diets down for his next show.  He is sponsored by Muscletech (www.muscletech.com) and is a very successful personal trainer.  Anyone that would like to investigate training with him can contact him through me by emailing me at eric@topdownwellness.com.

I am showing Josh how to do webinars and so in the near future, he will most likely start to host a few himself!  Look for that here at the team TDW blog if you are interested in learning from an experienced and successful bodybuilder!

In Health, wellness and abundance.
