What Makes a great client. . ..

I just finished a session with the perfect client. He is in his early twenties and wants to get ripped and put on some muscle. He has so far dropped a significant amount of bodyfat and not dropped any scale weight. How did this happen? He did every single thing that I asked and logged his food diligently so that he is learning week by week how his body responds to the calories and carb amounts that I give him. The more tracking and exact measuring of your caloric, carb, protein and fat intake you do in the beginning, the easier it is for your nutrition coach to manipulate your intake and find that "sweet" spot for you to be gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time. . .and yes, that is always possible.. . the people that say it is not are those that rely on eating carbs during the offseason as their main caloric source. . . with proper setup, muscle can always be gained at the same time as stripping off fat. . . .
So, if you work with a professional in the health and fitness field (after of course checking to see if he/she is actually all they are cracked up to be) be sure to do all they tell you. . .you will get the results and not waiste your hard earned money and even more precious time. :)
